Seasons greetings to all!

Despite poor weather, the annual Selling of Christmas trees appeared as popular as ever.  Many thanks to all who supported this. Final totting up is not yet completed but it looks as if it is not far behind last year’s amazing total.

Volunteers have been working enthusiastically at both Leadburn Community Woodland and one of its satellites at Whim, where this great photo of ‘hair ice’ was taken.

A light dusting of snow on 22^nd caught some bird tracks on the board walk, so far identified as pheasant – any other suggestions?
